For those who spent any time at Jack Guiliano Field through season 2019/20 particularly as our One’s were in action, would have witnessed the impact of Cody Anderson.
The imposing lefty whose work on the mound often kept the Royals in games most thought gone, has received another honour for his season.
Following his joint Wonnacott Medal win with battery mate Jack Wills, Anderson was voted runner up in the Baseball Victoria Division One MVP George Heron Medal. Compiling 25 votes, just two shy of the top spot, it’s clear others saw the value that Royals fans witnessed throughout the season.
On behalf of the Committee and Club of the Sandringham Royals, congratulations Cody Anderson. Our congratulations also go to Andrew Russell from the Waverley Wildcats on his MVP season
