Feb 26th: It is Grand Final weekend across the Baseball Victoria Summer League and Sandringham Baseball Club is well represented across all grades. Finals Bound

18th Feb: With most teams having their final regular season games on the weekend, we are up to the finals, and Sandy has plenty of teams in contention for premiership glory. In our Senior ranks, our 2s have had a great year under Coach Sam Street, and have finished 3rd.  They will play Fitzroy in the semi-final this Sunday at 2pm at Fitzroy. Call for Players for Winter Baseball

25th Jan:   Rightfully we are all very proud of our home ground on Tulip St and our very homely clubhouse. Recently there has been a feeling in our Club from some people that we run a dangerous risk of losing control of this facility over the winter months  (1 April – 30 Sept) if we are not present during those months. To this end, Sandringham re-entered the DBA competition two seasons ago and had initial success in the C1 Grade.

Paint the Town Teal on February 3rd

December 7th:   February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and Sandringham Baseball Club is having it’s Cancer Charity Day on February 3rd to help bring attention and raise money for research into this deadly disease. Every day, 4 Australian women are diagnosed and 3 women will die from ovarian cancer.  It is the most underfunded and the deadliest female cancer in Australia. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer, and we don’t know the causes of most ovarian cancer.

Vale Jack Larner

October 15th: The Sandringham Baseball Club would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jack Larner, who succumbed after a 3 year battle with cancer on Monday. Our deepest sympathies to Jacks’ family Steve, Liz, sister Taryn and faithful canine buddy Harley. Peter Gehle to Join Sandy for 2018/19 Season

Sept 24th:   Sandringham Baseball Club is pleased to announce that Peter Gehle will be joining the team for the 2018/19 season as our import player. Gehle, a 6’6″ 240 pound left-handed pitcher, joins the Royals after a stint with St John in the New Brunswick League in Canada. The 30-year-old southpaw was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 2010, playing in Rookie, AA, and independent leagues until 2016, where he then played in France.  He then went to
