NxtGen is Back in Melbourne in September

August 31st: NxtGen Baseball are pretty well known in baseball circles, as a performance company founded and run by former Major Leaguers, Trent Oeltjen & Ryan Rowland-Smith. They have 2 events planned in Melbourne during the school holidays, which are targeted at improving and inspiring junior baseballers. Jordy Barnett heads to Florida

August 22nd:   Jordy Barnett joins the growing list of Sandy players heading to the US College system to follow their baseball dream. Jordy begins this semester at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Florida. Tim Lane heads off today to play baseball for the Falcons attending Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. Yoga at Sandy

August 12th: Our offseason Yoga Classes have been a great success, it has been great to see so many of our members enjoying these sessions run by Irene during the winter months. With summer baseball season starting shortly, these sessions will finish up, with the final class to be held this Wednesday 15th at 7pm. However, the good news is that for those who want to continue their Yoga experience, Irene is starting a new class at VIYETT in Hampton on Mondays at 7:30 pm.

Senior/U18/U16 Training on Wednesdays for August

August 9th: Training for the 2018/19 season got off to a great start last night at Tulip St, with a good turn out for the 1st preseason session. It was good to see a mix of veterans + juniors join in a pretty active session. Training will continue on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm for the rest of August and September 5th. June 2nd:   In front of a full house at the Sandringham Clubrooms on Wednesday, the club conducted it’s AGM and election of Office Bearers for 2018/19. Come and Try Yoga at Sandy

April 11:   We are looking to trial Yoga classes for parents, senior players, and supporters in the off-season. These sessions would be run by Irene Socic, a qualified Yoga Teacher at the Sandringham Baseball Club rooms. The classes will be designed for those new to yoga, as well as those who currently practice yoga. These trial sessions will be free, and held on Tuesday 24th April and Tuesday 1st May, starting at 7pm. The classes will run for an hour.
