Big Pete and Pizza an Early Xmas Gift for Sandy Juniors

December 6th:   The Sandringham Baseball Club enjoyed a pre-Christmas Junior Pizza night yesterday where a member from each team was nominated for the Veritec Sportsperson of the year. Southern Mariners Charter Player Development Program

Nov 15th:   The Sandringham Baseball Club is part of the Southern Mariners Charter and encourages all Little, Intermediate and Junior League players to try out for the Charter Player Development Program Trials are on the 1st and 8th December. Junior Chocolate Fundraiser

October 26th: As part of our plan to improve facilities, we are running a Cadbury Fundraiser Drive this season. Each junior family will get 1 box of chocolates worth $50. In it are Freddos and various chocolate bars. The Freddos can be sold for 50 cents each, the bars for a $1. All Girl Team debuts for Sandy

October 13th: Sandringham’s very first all-girl junior team, the Sandringham Aces, took the field on Friday night, playing the Sandy Royals in the Balls in Play competition at Bonbeach last night. Both teams displayed great hitting and fielding skills and look to be in for a fun season. Thanks to Craig, Darryl and Nick, and all the parents that were there last night to watch the kids have a great time!

October 9th:  U14 Junior League Training for the two Sunday teams will be on Thursdays. Official training is from 5pm till 6.30pm. This is also an optional cage session from 4pm till 5pm. Sept 27th:   The baseball journey at Sandringham starts with T-Ball, where players from 5 years of age and up are introduced to the game in a fun and nurturing environment. Junior Training Notes – Updated 30 Sept

Sept 30th:  Little League will be training on Wednesdays from 4:30 – 6pm. Junior League will be training Tuesdays, from 4 – 6pm. U16s will train on Thursdays from 5pm, and then join the Senior Groups from 6pm. U18s should be training with the Senior Group on Thursdays.
