August 31st:
The Little League World Series has just concluded in Williamsport, New Jersey, with Japan wrapping up the title over Pennsylvania in a hard fought battle overnight.
Australia was well represented by Cronulla, who earned the right to represent our country by winning the National Titles in Lismore in June, beating the Southern Mariners along the way.
Attached is a great article on the Cronulla’s performances during the tournament. They represented Australia well, and it shows that Australian Little League baseball is not out of place on the world stage.
