Sandringham Baseball Club is a part of the Southern Mariners Charter for Little, Junior, and Senior League Representative baseball.

Mission Statement:  The Southern Mariners in conjunction with Baseball Victoria is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to “promote, develop, supervise and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball.”

Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being.  By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

Results

The 2015-16 Junior League Mariners finished 4th in the State Championships.

The Senior League Mariners then went on to win the Australian Senior League Championships, qualifying for the Asia Pacific Championships in the Philippines. SENIOR LEAGUE SOUTHERN MARINERS OFF TO THE PHILIPPINES.

2015-16 Senior League Representatives:  Jai Lyttleton, Josh Meyer, Tim Lane, Jordan Barnett, Jackson Boyd, Harrison Wills, Taj Clayton and EO, Rick Wills.

The Senior League mariners then went onto to qualify for the World Series in Bangor, finishing runner-up in the tournament:

Results

The 2014-15 Little League Mariners won the State Championships, and then went 2 wins, 4 losses and one draw in the National Titles, finishing 8th overall out of 20, which was won by Cronulla.  Info about Australian Little League is at Australian Little League News
