August and September is a frantic time for the club as we gear up for the coming season.
The committee has been working hard behind the scenes preparing our Junior Come n Try days, which will be held on September 3rd and 10th. We’ve also been working with many local schools to ensure the message of baseball is delivered to all children looking for a summer sport. We’ll be conducting clinics at some schools to give students a chance to try out our great game for themselves.
The club is very proud of the eight players and coach Rick Wills who represented the Mariners in the Senior League World Series. Their success is a testament to the hard work they put into their game. We hope this success will continue on to our summer season.
Our Senior 1s squad are already hard at work training and our club coaching staff couldn’t be happier with the attitude and commitment of not only our experienced senior players, but also the many junior players who are looking to make an impact in Division 1 baseball.
We’re proud to announce the signing of our import player Reed Mason for the coming season. Reed is a left-handed pitcher from San Diego and a proud graduate of Division 1 College Northwestern University. He comes to us with great credentials and a wealth of experience. We look forward to his arrival on September 16th.
Sandringham Baseball Club will again field four men’s teams, one women’s team, two masters teams and the many junior teams that will represent our club with pride & passion.
