WOMEN’S baseball is alive and well in Sandringham with the club regularly fielding a side in both the Baseball Victoria Summer and DBA Winter competitions since 2008.
This season the Club is striving towards further developing its women’s baseball program and is looking for potential new players. Whether you have played baseball before, softball, cricket, hockey, football or never even picked up a ball – everyone is welcome.
The senior women’s competition is restricted to ages 14 and over, however the club can cater to girls aged under 14 in one of our mixed junior teams.
To introduce people to the sport of baseball and the club you are welcome to attend any of our regular training sessions, or we would be happy to organise a personal Come n Try session if you would prefer.
As with all of our players and teams, the summer competition will focus on skill development, team cohesion plus a competitive, fun and fair environment for all. The Sandringham Baseball Club supports all its players in their respective pursuits for baseball development. The Royals welcome all new players regardless of ability, so stop thinking about it and join in.
Training: Wednesday’s 6-8pm
